Let’s face it, Christmas is over. We’re already a week into January, which means we’re already a week into the new year. A new year is a time for reflection, optimism for the future and the dreaded question,”What are your New Years Resolutions?”

For the first time since I can remember, I haven’t made any initial New Years Resolutions. I make them every year and never succeed. But I feel like this is a pivotal point in my life; I’ve turned 21, I’ve properly moved away from home and I’ve started my first industry job. Maybe I should be making some changes to my life to make sure that I’m making the most of the opportunities that I’ve been given?

With this in mind, I’ve decided that I will be making some resolutions after all, and they’ll be coming in to practice this Monday. The only difference is that, (making this quite a pointless blog post), I’m not going to tell anybody what they are. Not family, not flatmates, not friends. Nobody. Not that I’m entirely sure that anybody cares…

Instead of setting myself goals, telling the world about them and then not achieving them, I’m going to keep them to myself, revealing them only once they’ve been achieved.

Like a little game… that I’ll probably never get to the end of.

Let’s see how I get on then shall we?
